I am  Michelle Bernier-Libersher, the owner of Shear Perfection for over 21 years. It all started when I began showing my Miniature Poodle in Junior Showmanship/Conformation and Obedience when I was 9 years old. After great success with my poodle, I decided to get my dream dog.  In 1990 I got my first Borzoi and not only showed her in Conformation and Obedience, but I got started in the sport of Agility and Lure Coursing. That was it, I was hooked and after spending so much time at these events (almost every weekend and driving thousands of miles) I decided I wanted to turn my passion for dogs into my career. After graduating from grooming school, were I was taught by Jeanne Mulcahey, an award winning groomer.  I started at Shear Perfection. After developing my skills and competing at grooming competitions, I bought the business from  the original owner. I have a natural artistic flair and a knack for handling dogs and making them feel at ease. I also love interacting with my customers who love their "kids/pets" as much as I do. I now have a current staff of three who all have been with me for over nine years or more. We all love and care for dogs as if they were our own, our clients are like family.
